I’m a Finalist!
Holiest of molies! There I was, quietly enjoying my holiday back in beautiful Ireland, when a fellow blogger sent me a message saying only “Have you seen the finalist list!!!” I could only assume that she was talking about the Blog Awards Ireland & was hoping from her tone that I was on the list. I opened the page & quickly scrolled through the list, then literally leaped for joy when I saw “My Food Odyssey” listed.
Yeay! I’m so excited – I just can’t believe it! There are so many great Irish blogs and I’m so happy that my fellow bloggers, who judge the awards, think that my little blog has something to offer. I was also thrilled to see that the friend who had sent me the message had also made the finalist list. There are nine other fab blogs still left in my category so I’m not really holding any hope of winning – but a girl can dream!
Right, that’s three posts in one month about various blog awards – my blog is starting to look a bit self-absorbed. I was in the middle of writing a post on my delicious Apple & Anise Jelly – I’ll get straight back to that now. (But yeay for little ole me!)
