I am very disappointed with Amazon. They are doing a disservice to you & your customers. I ordered 6 cookbooks in total and have received none of them. Amazon has no explanation other than they are sorry. I will be cancelling my Amazon orders today as they are still in the system. Your cook books were to be Christmas gifts and my family was very disappointed. On a humorous note … my potatoes sprouted eyes while waiting for my shipment!

Hi Audre. I’m so sorry to hear that. I can offer no excuse on their behalf – that’s just not good enough, especially around Christmas. I wish I had a way of selling them other than through Amazon, but at the moment that’s the only avenue available to me. I know the moment has long since passed, but I took your feedback on board and have published a new hardback version of the book which is available via Barnes & Noble, Book Depository and a number of other online booksellers. Hi Sarah! Thanks a million for buying the book. I can understand that it’s nicer to read from a hard copy, but just to say that from my perspective it’s the same if you buy hard copy or ebook – the extra cost is purely for printing. So I’m delighted either way! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. June.

Hello June. Your sister Audrey told me of your blog-we took an on line poetry class together-so here I am. We have a 7 acre homestead in Illinois, raise all our own meat and most of our own veggies. Can’t wait to read up on your old posts and see what you do in Lithuania!

Congratulations to you! But … I read books printed on paper. I don’t own those devices that you “load” books onto. Shucks!!

If you can read this post you do own such a device, Frances! Amazon allows you to download a free app on laptop, phone, ipad, etc. that you can use to buy and read Kindle books!
I take the point, though – some people prefer print. At the moment that’s not feasible for me but it’s definitely something I’d like to do in the future.

I will buy this … I need to wait for my husband to help me because I don’t actually use the kindle but I will so certainly buy this – as you know I love your recipes, your photos and your words so for 3 and a bit euro its a snip!

Thank you so much Osyth! Note that it’s a compilation of the recipes from the site. I just thought people would like the convenience of having them in one book that they can refer to offline. Plus the photos are lush (if I say so myself!) I hope you like it.
