My Food Odyssey – European Tour Revisited

Rosslare Harbour |

This day four years ago Arūnas and I set sail from Rosslare Harbour for Pembroke in Wales, ready to begin our odyssey around Europe in search of fine food and drink. We had set aside a few days in Cornwall en route to the mainland, but other than that we had no fixed itinerary – we would just go wherever the road took us for as long as we were enjoying it.

My plan had been to blog regularly, but with limited electricity and wifi this proved difficult. I did make lots of notes and took lots of photos, and I managed to write a handful of posts about the wonderful places we visited and products we tried. However, as my blog was very new at the time, very few people actually read them! So, for the next few months I am going to share those posts with you again, on the date they were originally published. I hope that you enjoy them.

In the end we travelled for three months, taking a break in Lithuania to fix our air conditioning. While we were here an opportunity arose to buy a small house in need of restoration. And the rest, as they say, is history!
