A taste of things to come

Food Market Seville | www.myfoododyssey,com

In the next installment from our European Food Tour I explain why I haven’t been blogging as much as I’d hoped, and give a taste of what posts I will share in the weeks ahead.

    Hi June

I saw you and husband on house hunters international and was envious.
I love farming and living of the land . My problem is fear of the unknown…
I live in South Africa and think of buying a small piece of land for farming.

    • Hi Lerato. Thanks for checking out the blog after seeing the show. Yes, fear of the unknown can be a big inhibitor. Is there a way you can “try before you buy”? Like maybe rent somewhere for a year with the option to move back home if it doesn’t work out? Or maybe get someplace small not too far from home and work it at weekends? If it’s something you’re really passionate about it’s definitely worth pursuing, even if it does take a few years to get there. We were working on our plan for quite a few years before we made the move and are delighted with our new home and life.
