South Africa

For our honeymoon we went to beautiful South Africa. We drove from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth via Franschhoek, Oudtshoorn and the Garden Route, then flew to Johannesburg and on to Kruger National Park for a 3 day safari. From there we flew to Zambia where we went white water rafting on the Zambezi river. We stayed mostly in B&Bs and hostels. I guess it’s not everyone’s idea of a perfect honeymoon, but for us it was the most amazing holiday ever.

  1. Great photos! We were in South Africa this past Sept. I have lots of photos and two slide shows on my site. I’m ready to go back!

    • Thanks Susan! I had a look on your blog and I can’t seem to find those photos – maybe you could post a link? We loved our time there – we also hope to go back someday, perhaps for a special anniversary.
