Hello, love your house and what an amazing view! I ended up in your blog because of the ikea blinds you’re using in the conservatory. Could you tell me if you can see through them during the night with lights on? I’m considering them for a dressing room where I want light but privacy =) Thank you very much xx

Hi Joana. Good question! I don’t think I’ve been outside when the blinds were down and the lights on, but I’ll check later for you. I imagine you can see silhouettes, especially if the person inside is close to the window, but I’ll check for you and let you know.

Just checked that. You can see a very, very slight silhouette when you’re right inside the window, but it disappears to nothing if you’re about 15 inches back from the window. I think your dignity will be safe!
