Between

The picturesque village of Roquefort in southern France, home to one of my favourite cheeses, is surrounded by the most stunning rocky mountains. I was very happy to see that the villagers had left decent gaps between buildings on the main street so that the view was not totally obscured.

We got fantastic weather in the south of France – sunny but not too hot. Between that, the cheese and the wine I was in heaven!
Did you here we’re due the hottest weather in living memory for the next three weeks?!

I find it hard to believe right now but I’m willing to be surprised! The forecast says low 20s!

I think it’s due to begin on July 1st. I had been complaining about the miserable weather we’ve had all June. Not sure if I’ll survive 50 degrees, though! Timed to load the freezer with ice cream.

It’s definitely worth a visit, Alicja, especially if you’re a fan of the cheese. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.
