Man in Motion
Whatever about me being a big kid, Arūnas is an even bigger one. He doesn’t do stationary – he likes to be on the move. Despite the motion blur you can still see the determination on his face to get higher and higher. It’s all part of his boyish charm, I guess. Luckily the swing was well cemented down – otherwise there probably would have been an injury.

I am almost 60 years young and I still LOVE to swing.

Never stop being a kid. It keeps us young. Looks like Arunas has that figured out. Does he like to hang upside down in trees too?

Yep, he sure does, Susan. He likes doing all “boy” things. Unfortunately for me he’s quite accident prone. How he’s still in one piece is beyond me!

I loved to swing when I was a kid and I still do now at 59. I don’t like to go that high any more though. And I can’t fit in one of those swings any more. I can get my porch swing to go pretty good though. 😀

Especially on a pretty morning with a cup of coffee and watching the farm animals grazing peacefully. And chickens scratching around. 🙂

‘Oops-a-daisy’ springs to mind! Its something my Mum used to say when I was too adventurous in the playground and landed hard on my backside.

There are lots of oops-a-daisy moments with Arunas, Gary. Except instead of landing on his ass he’s more likely to land on his head! I can only imagine Nana’s reaction if she saw you swinging that high!
