Food Word of the Day: Jeroboam

I’d imagine these are quite tricky to handle – a box with a tap on the side sounds easier to use. That said, I know quite a few people who would like their wine to come in one of these!

The writer, Frances Mayes (Under The Tuscan Sun) has some beautiful foodie books where she talks of going on road trips, visiting vineyards and olive groves and buying oil and wines in bulk. Ah, Bella Tuscany, is the book I’m thinking of. It’s still on my shelf as it was so tasty I could not pass it on to others I kept it for myself for rainy days. I believe you would enjoy that book.
