Food Word of the Day: Snug
This one will be familiar to those from Ireland or who have visited Ireland. I do miss Irish pub culture – the craic, the banter, the music, the glorious Guinness and the cosy snug where you can curl up undisturbed with a good book.

Nearby my home, there is an Irish Pub style restaurant. They have two major rooms, the smaller of one of which is called The Snuggery. I used to wonder why it was called that – now I know the answer.
