NEW! Lithuanian Cookbook Now Available!

My Food Odyssey Lithuanian Cooking Book |

I am delighted to announce that my Lithuanian recipes are now available in a handy cookbook. The recipes are explained in detail, with step-by-step photos provided where needed. Each recipe has been thoroughly tested and I have suggested alternatives for some hard-to-find ingredients. If you are new to Lithuanian cooking it is an ideal introduction. The book also contains a number of stunning photographs of the Lithuanian landscape and wildlife. Available in both paperback & Kindle formats from just US$2.99 here. The Kindle version is also available FREE with all paperback purchases!

  2. June,

I love your cookbook. I wish I had the money to buy a hard copy.
You did an excellent job. Love the recipe choices. Am sharing it.

    • Hi Sarah! Thanks a million for buying the book. I can understand that it’s nicer to read from a hard copy, but just to say that from my perspective it’s the same if you buy hard copy or ebook – the extra cost is purely for printing. So I’m delighted either way! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it. June.

  3. Hello June. Your sister Audrey told me of your blog-we took an on line poetry class together-so here I am. We have a 7 acre homestead in Illinois, raise all our own meat and most of our own veggies. Can’t wait to read up on your old posts and see what you do in Lithuania!

Congratulations to you! But … I read books printed on paper. I don’t own those devices that you “load” books onto. Shucks!!

    • If you can read this post you do own such a device, Frances! Amazon allows you to download a free app on laptop, phone, ipad, etc. that you can use to buy and read Kindle books!
I take the point, though – some people prefer print. At the moment that’s not feasible for me but it’s definitely something I’d like to do in the future.

  7. I will buy this … I need to wait for my husband to help me because I don’t actually use the kindle but I will so certainly buy this – as you know I love your recipes, your photos and your words so for 3 and a bit euro its a snip!

    • Thank you so much Osyth! Note that it’s a compilation of the recipes from the site. I just thought people would like the convenience of having them in one book that they can refer to offline. Plus the photos are lush (if I say so myself!) I hope you like it.

      • Recipe books are generally a compilation of something or other …. I shall be delighted to have a little stash of yours in one place and you go ahead and toot your trumpet on your camera skills – you have every right!! 🎺
